Default 30/7 question?

What all consitutes to the 30 hours? Is is simply the scheduled block time? The actual flight time not block? What about overs? Thanks

actual block. So what you actually flew(overs, unders, what ever it actually was) counts towards 30/7. So theoretically you could be getting close to it and say pulled off an over night because of it, then you flew alot under to wear it wouldnt affect you any more and put back on the flight. Make sense. You will learn it in class.

Yes makes sense, thanks. I guess I wont learn it in class since I've been on reserve for a while now I was asking because I was on a 4 day that was originally blocked to about 22:30. We had over an hour of overs, however they changed my schedule so I lost a little bit of flying too. Either way I finished a 4 day today and they had another 2 day lined up for me tomorrow blocked at 8 hours. I thought this was going to maybe be an issue, and when I got home it was gone. Maybe they caught it themselves.

Ah, ok, yea they probably saw the error(even though the computer should not allow them to put something on your schedule that is illegal), or they gave it to you before you blocked in on your last trip, then you blocked in and the computer flagged it, then it took somebody a while to physically remove it.

It's a floating 7 day period. Actual flight time for previous days, and scheduled flight time for future days cannot exceed 30 hours.

FYI... The block in time is based on the first door opened, not what shows on the acars. The actual pairing time in ccs is acurate.

Deadhead, gate returns, duty period minimums etc.. are obviously NOT included...
