Default Days Off

Hey guy's I have another rookie question. How many days off can you hold in a row when you are new hire vs. when you are a line holder? I know as a new hire you take what you get, but is there anyway you could ever get 8 days off in a row? And does anybody know what the typical trip lengths are going to be like at the ONT base.

Thanks

While you're on reserve, expect to work 4 or 5 days on, then get 2 or 3 days off. 8 in a row? Not until you're a lineholder, and even then you'll have to do some crafty trading to get that.

On reserve you are off only like 12-14 days so no chance of 8 off in a row.

As a line holder if you know what you are doing and don't care what week of the month you have the 8 days off in a row then you have about a 75% chance of 8 days off. I needed a specific week off for FFDO training and was not going to use vacation to go. So I worked some magic and voila I have 10 days of in a row line value still 75 hrs. Not sure about ONT...
