Default BLKT vs. PAYT Question

I just finished up a short 2 day which ended up turning into a 4 day trip. The kicker is that my master schedule only shows it blocked to 12:12 with 1:01 of DH. My question is now that I look at my master schedule, it is showing that my BLKT is 12:12, however my PAYT is only 9:02. My pairing was changed several times through out the trip, and the pairing itself shows a Pay time of 13:08. Where is this difference coming from and what do I need to do? Thanks!

Things to check. You are only pay protected for the trip as it stood at your show time. So, in this case, for the two day. Everything AFTER your two day is paid at ACTUAL BLOCK only.

Check the next pages of your pay register (F8 ) and see that your pay for the first two days shows your block or better pay. Then make sure day 3 and 4 are being paid at what you actually flew. Best to check against your red book, but know that there will be a few minutes of discrepancy due to main cabin door/bag door issues.

Add up the four days...I bet it adds to 13:08. If not, pay claim what is missing.

Also, you can email your pairing to xjtcompliance@alpa.org and they will look at it to make sure it was paid correctly.

Edit to add: The pay register is what shows your "official" pay, not the PAYT on your master schedule.

Thanks I'll check into that. It seems goofy to me that im only pay protected for the first two days. I could see if I chose to pick up the extra time, but Im on reserve and they added the extra flying on. Also, is there a minimum that they have to pay you for a 4 day trip?

Wis..

Not on reserve...I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the 15 hours of credit for a four day built in the pairings if you only fly five hours.
