Backpack for daily books, a chart case, pens, highlighters (school stuff)...

Bring two large Jepp Binders, and a small one or third large chart binder. You'll soon be bringing your filled chart case to class every day. The first week ro two you can survive with a backpack.

A car! While the van is good enough to get you to/from school.... it still eats up loads of time. Trips to Wal Mart on the van take forever, and are restricted to before 9pm etc.

Don't order the coyote works stuff until you get to training. XJT has approved them for payroll deduct, so you can pay for the stuff over 4 months instead of now on no salary. In addition, you can look at what they have and see it in person.

They'll come to talk to your class during the first week or two of training, and they're pretty good about getting your stuff to you pretty quickly, and pretty much always you'll have your box before FTDs start.

I've got all of their stuff, and I've got no complaints.
