Default Class Start

Want to apply in the early part of the new year (First week of January) but just had a question. After interview, what kind of time should i expect before I start training, and are the starting dates flexible? Thanks for the help.

My understanding is that you don't get to choose what your class date is. As far as applying goes, if you have the time now, then apply now. Seniority is everything and the sooner you start the better.

At the interview they maybe filling multiple class dates so you would get to choose. If you get the later one you can ask to be placed in a class that starts sooner. But keep in mind they may call you Friday afternoon for a class starting the very next Monday morning.

Good luck!

Just to add a little more info for you, when I had my interview on Feb 14 last year, I was told my class date would be March 6. But not more than 3-4 days later I was called to see if I wanted to take a Feb 27 class......of course I took it! I guess my point is that you never know for sure.

Our class was given 10 days notice at our interview, and she had offered me a class on 4 days notice...couldn't get matters resolved quick enough to make that one though.
