To those of you that live in houston, I am looking at moving down there with my wife and 2 year old son. Looking at homes in Atascocita, Katy, Spring and Humble. I am currently looking for info on things like schools, crime, make up of the neighborhoods (lots of young families, etc...). Thanks in advance for all of your help.
The Kingwood area is an excellant place to raise a family. The taxes are high but the school is excellant. Katy is a bit of a hike, spring is alright and Humble and Atascocita depending on where you look are nice. Also take a look at the Walden area and a development called Eagle Springs as well. check out the ranking of houston schools Houston Schools, Schools Houston, you can search by name, city, zip code, accountability ranking, average SAT score, and which schools are "exemplary" according to the Texas DOE.
