Thanks to you all for kind words and prayers. Everything went well and Kevin III is resting at home with us.
Im not sure if any of you can relate to this, but I feel different today after having to deal with this impending surgery for six months and the surgery itself.
I consider myself to be an adventurous guy.....pretty fearless when it comes down to it, nothing scares me...not even death. But since I've had my kids ( I have a 3 yr old girl, and my 6mo old), when it comes to them I am the biggest wuss. Everything about them scares me...am i raising them right, what if something were to happen to them while I was gone...etc.
All of that to say that I am 32 and it has never really entered my mind that im not 20 something anymore...until today...today I felt old. Maybe its the weight of all the things going on around me...I dont know...I just feel different today. Oh well, sorry I didnt mean to droll on. Thanks again for your prayers, they were answered today.

Kevin,
Very glad to hear all went well. The fact that everything about your kids scares you simply means one thing...you LOVE them. It's good to know that you are a parent who realizes their children are a blessing and not just another way to get more welfare and food stamps. And I'm 28 with no children(yet, we want some) and I realized recently I'm not in my early 20's anymore either. My wife and I want children soon, and I hope and pray that I will feel the same way about my children as you. I'm sure Kevin III will be driving you crazy in no time.

Glad to hear you are home!
Thanks for keeping us updated! Glad things went well, and I'm sure this is a huge relief for you and your family.
We have three kids....the oldest went through open heart surgery at TCH in July of 2004. He was born with a condition called Ebsteins Anomoly, and may very well have more surgeries in the future. Great hospital...he had tonsils and adnoids out, and 4th set of tubes put in in June of the same year, open heart in July, and our youngest son was born in August.
Anyway....take care we will continue to pray for him and an easy recovery!

These surgeries sound expensive. How will y'all afford them after the pay cuts?

Beagle,
Just rude. Bye.
To the original poster. Glad to hear that everything worked out well for your little one. I have no kids myself but I put my parents through quite a scare back in the 80's. I'm still "hear" annoying people when I shouldn't be. Miracles of medicine and the body. Thank goodness technology has come along so far to make what was deemed impossible somewhat possible.

You are an a$$. Kevin was posting something from the heart and you have to cheapen it with a stupid post. Go back to your own airlines boards and leave ours alone!
