Default FMLA Pass Travel

Is pass travel (or jumpseating) authorized while on FMLA? We are actually getting ready to move with a newborn, and may need to jumpseat to/from home of residence to help with the move...

Thanks

Yes it is possible... just call your Chief pilot and ask for permission.

I had to take FMLA once to get some medical treatment and the doc I wanted to use was out of town... I called Jeremy and asked if it would be ok and he had no problem with it. He even told me that it was ok for my wife to non-rev to come with me.

Just CYA and you will be fine.

Technically, pass travel and jumpseating are not allowed while on FMLA. You will be locked out of EmployeeRes and are removed from CASS until you return.

But, as AlohaFlyer stated, you can use pass travel for certain circumstances. You do have to get it cleared through the CPO, which I would do before you go on FMLA. Also, jumpseating won't be allowed because of the way the CASS software handles your FMLA.
