My wife had a Lennar townhome when we met and we currently own a Lennar home. Both were/are in The Woodlands. I don't have a lot of bad stuff to say about them but I do think they use the cheapest products to build a home. Door knobs, cabnets, faucets, towel racks, etc. The home we bought was 5 years old and had a structural roof problem the inspector caught. Lennar was out in two days to fix the problem before we bought it. The best advice I can give you for any home even if its new, Hire a good inspector. DON"T ASSUME there is nothing wrong with a new home. The builder will tell you, you are wasting money by inspecting a new home. Don't believe them. Get it inspected. It will be the best $300-350 you will ever spend.
