Default any tips on how to keep a little girls room ORGANIZED???

Im at at my friends house, a single Dad. Little girl is 8 and has crap all over the place. Pieces of this game and that game. sparkly things with ribbons....

i am thinking shoe-box size bins, and many of them.

the whole crayon, colored pencil, marking situation is out of control.

I can understand completely! It's all about creative storage!

They make some really nice "under the bed" clear storage bins that would be a big help if he doesn't have a lot of room in the house. These are great if there is no space for any additional shelving in the room. They are clear so the little one can see what is inside... and they slide nicely out of the way.

Also... here's some nice inexpensive shelves from Target that he can put in her room with different storage totes. This is really handy too.

Right now we have something similar to the above from pottery barn kids... it looks like this:

Bascially... any type of shelving that you can put totes or baskets on will work wonders... and it makes it easier for the little one clean up her bedroom because everything has a "place".

Hope that helps!
