Just curious if there has been any update on the FMLA stuff. Baby number uno(Boy) due April 30th and I would like to get as much time off as possible.

Here ya go...

Item 2: Male PilotsÂ’ Use of Sick Leave during FMLA Leave for the Birth of a Child

On Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, the parties completed the evidentiary hearing for the System Board arbitration addressing whether male pilots are entitled to use accrued sick leave when they take FMLA leave for the birth of a child. Approximately 30 days after the hearing transcript is prepared, the parties will file briefs with the arbitrator. Within about 60-90 days thereafter, the arbitrator will likely issue a decision.

If that timeline for a decision within the next 4 months changes, any further developments arise, or we receive a decision, we will let you know.

Thanks and fly safely.
