Austin,

You are doing a great job moving the forums forward. Any thought on getting rid of the crew room? Lots of non-employees read the stuff on this forum.

For example from Yahoo Message board:
About branded closing - "No press release, no announcement at their website, and the only discussion at expressjetpilots.com is from somebody who appears to have confused branded with Delta Connection."

I just think that in these difficult times there should be no chance for some of the morons on this board to post items critical to the pilot group in a public area. I for one don't respond to any non-verified posters if it has anything to do with the company these days.

Just a thought. Not sure who else would be for this. While I pretty much just read the stuff in the Cockpit section I get mad when I see similar threads, which should not be for public consumption here.

Just a thought and run it how you like.

How about not posting sensitive rumors on the crewroom and only on the cockpit? I think that's a better idea. Any so called company related rumors before public release are deleted by mods. I know it sucks, but I think that sounds fair. Post your so called rumors related to company on the cockpit so the trolls can't see it. Problem solved. Shhesssh, what's so difficult? I tell ya, these Yahoo trolls get all their info from this forum, then they splatter it all over XJT's Yahoo Finance board, especially one troll, you know who you are, Mr T. Stupid annoying trolls, to trust a pilot forum anyways....

Yeah I just think we need more moderation to move threads that belong over there.

I know this is supposed to be a forum for pilots only but there are other crew members that have relied on the crackpipe to find out info that we don't get & we just learn a lot from reading all the posts & also enjoy the rumors too. Please don't shut us out too.

That would be a great idea but idiots do it all the time. That was my point. If something is around here for a day and then gets moved it kind of defeats the purpose.

I am sure we could find a way for other employees to get verified as well so they can participate.

And on Calforums XJT pilots are allowed to see all the dirty details and rumors on our side of the street, where here Ex-Express CAL pilots do not have access to the cockpit. WTF? I still care about my former company and want nothing but the best for you all. Except jerseykid, he can suck my @$$!
