I think they had one go off the end on the 8th of last month.

This sucks for them. I have a good friend from ATA that just finished training for them, I hope he is OK. He said the company was expanding, he was a capt at ATA on 757 and 737's when they closed and expected to upgrade on the 747's in a year. This may change things for the company...

I have flown in the past with several of their pilots. I'm sorry, but "?" that statement was uncalled for. Don't spread bad Karma!!!

? is a douche and not one of us otherwise Kalitta is a shady operator that takes piss poor care of their airplanes. When you go to a 2nd or 3rd string operator this unfortunately results. My prayers are out to their families. Something to think about when moving on.

Hate to say it but that could be it for Kalitta. You can't have two 747 hull losses like that in such a short period of time and not be in serious risk of going out of business. Who will insure them?
