Really tough times for Connie Kalitta. He just lost his son a few weeks ago and now this.
My thoughts and prayers go out to those who lost thier lives and thier families.

it was a joke get a life,
im sure youve made a joke about someone in a third world country before, but thats ok because you cant relate to them, but when someone makes a joke about a pilot everyone gets so emotional

A US registered jet has crashed, US pilots were flying it, people have died unnecessarily, and some thoughtless idiot makes a post about how much fuel has been wasted. Sorry, I don't view it as a cute joke.

Grow up, act like a professional, and show a little respect and compassion. Regardless of yours and "?'s" Maverick-esque skill as rock star RJ pilots, one day you too may be faced with an incident and I bet you won't see it as a laughing matter then.

For all we know, one of the crewmembers on that 747 may have been with a pilot you flew with at XJT. This is a small world, after all.
