I think earmolds with the QT would not be necessary.

Add another vote for Quiet Technologies. Dead quiet, very comfortable, and durable. I "upgraded" mine with some Comply eartips and adapters from a hearing aid parts store and now it's even better, with the same eartip technology as the Clarity Aloft.

The owner of QT gives great customer support. Also less expensive than the Mach 1 or Clarity Aloft.

Both. The case is a bit large but does protect them well. I have a Crown Royal bag I use to protect them, but typically just lay them flat on top of the manuals.

so I guess the next question about the quiet technologies, is the halo the only model out right now? I'm looking to stay away from headsets that I have to put on or around my head I would like something with ear molds. Unless you dont even notice the halo. Thoughts....

The Mach 1 is NOT FAA approved! I have enjoyed my Mach 1 for 3 years...until Southwest just decided I needed a TSO'd headset. If you're planning on working somewhere else in a few years you might consider a TSO'd headset.
