Anyone travel from the NY area to Prague recently? Any tips that you could share? Which airlines fly there direct from NY, if any? Thanks in advance!

I remember seeing Czech Airlines in EWR back in the day but haven't seen them there for a few years now, maybe they fly into JFK?

edit: just checked, they have a direct flight between JFK and Prague. Good luck!

I know the NHL is going to be holding an exhibition game there next season... not sure if its going to be pre-season or regular season. Let me know what you find out if you go! I hear its supposed to be a blast! looking forward to getting over there sometime soon

Check Delta. I think they might do that. If not there Atlanta. Yeah I know a little bit from NYC. I flew CAL to Frankfurt and then Lufthansa to Prague. 1:20 minute flight. Warning though they will not let you take your roller bag on the plane. Only 1st class. Dumb.. there were like 90 seats open on the plane. They of course lost my bag and it took 8 hrs to get it. So if you go that route just make sure you pack a change of clothes in your carry on.

Prague is awesome if you have never been. PM me if you need any info on where to stay or dine.

Great Mexican food place called the Cantina. Near St Nicolas Church. Forget the name of the main street but you should be able to find it. Bohemia Bagel is good for breakfast and lunch.

Delta does PRG only from ATL. We code share with CZA from JFK.

Loads from ATL are hit and miss. I just checked out of curiosity and it was fine for today's flight but oversold for tomorrow and Friday. Also, it's not a daily service.

I've heard great things about PRG. Beautiful city and, from what I understand, still affordable compared to western Europe. It's one of the places on our list to visit.
