The president can and does influence policy and/or laws. I did NOT say that he sits at his desk, drafts a law and boom..there it is. Show me where I said that. I'll wait.

He also has the ability to VETO.... I can assure you that my criticism is not solely pointed at the Oval Office but at most within Washington. It is a broken and corrupt system.

I guess the way you think, the President is not responsible for anything, just a figure head....since you lean to the left. Always passing the buck...

By the way..do not assume how I lean. You may end up looking a bit stupid.

I dont know if it will help but everyone should be emailing their reps in the congress and senate. If you dont do that then you dont have much room to complain. I just emailed mine on the subject. This is destroying our industry and more importantly our economy.
