Yo, CAL is furloughing 450. I just heard that from a dude that got the call.

Also, CAL is now trying to get a flowback to any airline that is an Express carrier of it. Sorry, don't think so!!!

If 450 turns out to be the correct number, does anyone know what hire date that goes back too?

FWIW, I was j/s up front the other day on CAL and they also verified a 400 - 450 furlough number. They didn't say anything about flowbacks though.

Just a head's up. CAL doesn't call you, they send a letter. They haven't gone out yet, and we don't know how many will if any. They're still talking over COLAs and early outs, as well as other measures. Since I'm about #375, I can personally verify that you're "source" is full of crap.

"Jets for Jobs" is the only thing that the CAL guys can get (assuming there's growth i.e. Colgan and the Q's)....there is no flow back.
