thats what i thought too, but passing through EWR yesterday, i saw a Q-400 in line for 22R/W. must have been too heavy for 29, or wait, maybe its because most of the time ATC won't accept 29 departures.

because this is what would happen:

Random other Jetlink: Guys, you can do .78 and you know it. If you're in an XR you can do .80

Yep... and you always must do what other pilots tell you to on the radio, I think it's in the FARs somewhere...
