Someone should also inform them that at the point your paycheck deductions stop, your medical insurance payment is no longer paid by automatic deduction and HR does nothing to tell you/remind you about that. I have spoken with people who first learn they need to manually send medical insurance payments because they get a notice of termination from the insurer a month or two after your regular paychecks/deductions stop. Help and guidance about any of this stuff (from the company) is at least one thing that seriously sucks here.

Please let me know what I can do to support him and his family. I was in class with Aaron and have been trying to reach him for the past few weeks and now I know why.

Thanks.

Hey I remember Aaron from flight school. You can count me in too on the sick leave. I only have about 20 hours to give, but it will help. Get well soon Aaron!

Aaron was my classmate....just let me know what I can do to help. I have sick bank, buddy passes, and will donate some of my paycheck to help out too.

Thank you everyone for thinking of us. We appreciate your kind thoughts and gestures as well as any helpful hints of things to watch out for when dealing with long term leave situations. Although we haven't been with the company long, we are amazed at the outpouring of support and assistance we have received. I will do my best to update Bob or post myself with the outcome of his surgery tomorrow.

If you would like to contact us directly, you can PM us here as it goes directly into my email.

Thank you everyone!

Kim (and Aaron) Ward
