No being a d*ck, just asking questions. and no I don't have a problem with leaving stuff in the door way, but ITS a DOOR WAY, expect stuff to get stepped on K-boy.
Yeah it was in my man purse. Duffle bag whatever you want to call it. Not his fault. Just pissed I wasn't the dumb@ss to break it. Finally getting it back from repairs and it set me back $600. Guess I should have had them rip the screen off of it and used it as a 3rd computer at home. If it had DVI would have worked perfect with my TV.

For those that want the HP you can buy it online now!

HP 2133 Mini-Note PC Small & Medium Business

I am very tempted but with 75 hour lines in ONT I ain't got the extra cash. I digress...... Of course knowing me I will buy it anyway. Anyone want a good deal on my EEE PC?

I also heard Dell will come out with something similar in June. It will most likely use the new Intel Atom processor which is supposed to run less hot and improve battery power.

its funny you say that, cause each new processor seems to promise the same thing, better performance and better battery life (for laptops).

So, is this thread going to fall in step with the rest of the crack pipe and become a "Captain vs F/O" pissing match? Just curious.

Captains who use Linux are cool. FO's suck no matter what OS they use!

Default Macbook

It's heavier, but not bad. It also runs EVERY OS out there that'll run on an x86 processor.

(Yeah, if you hack another brand laptop it will run OS X but I don't like to tweak that much I just want to get my work done.)

Something to think about. I use mine at home as my desktop. Get one of those cooling pads if you do video or games on it though to help keep it cool. May not be necessary but mine was $8 and good insurance. Those make a notable difference.

P.S. If I was your FO I would have at least offered to replace it with equivalent, pay you market price for a used one, or something...

To put this debate to rest. I actually discovered the damage after we shook hands when the pairing was over. While I am 100% positive he caused the damage I should have moved the bag. Bad break, sh!t happens, I will recover, and pave the way to buy another toy! Greg Gibson always said turn a negative into a positive. I ran out and bought the eeePC and have learned a lot about Linux. Getting very close to telling MS to p!ss off.
