Sad news indeed. 30 years old with a family and his whole life ahead of him.....what a shame. I hope he was able to see the birth of his son before his death. God bless!!

I have seen in the past when tragic strikes the Express Family where someone sets up an account (paypal) for donations for the family...if I knew how I would, however I would be one of the first in line to contribute.

Thoughts, ideas???

Is anybody gonna try to go to the wake? I would like to, but I dont know if I can get on a flight out of AUS that would put me into STL at the right time.

edit: just checked, CHQ flight is oversold and the AA mainline flight would put me in to late.

Good idea.....it did say in the blast mail though.....to send all donations to the down syndrome association. I guess if someone sets it up we could give the donation to the family and they could give it to DSA.

I'll be at the wake... I commute out of Seattle now but I'm a good friend of Tony's.
I haven't heard anything more than the Blastmail and don't want to call his home number for obvious reasons. When I was called about this I was/am sick to my stomach. I went to Tony's house to practice interviewing before I got hired here over two years ago. I worked as an intructor with him and was instructed by him before we both worked here. I will miss him forever and I know this world was better with him. Our management was great with letting me deal with this issue.

Tony will always be missed by me and many others... May we keep him in out prayers.

I cannot access the site with the ability to post. Please let them know that we have activated the CAL Honor Guard. Any Express Pilot or CAL Pilot planning to attend should contact Capt. Mark Benton mrbenton@mach84.com. The Honor Guard will be coordinated through Mark in conjunction with the XJT MEC Chair. The larger the contingency, the better. Full winter DRESS with HAT. Thank you. Sherry Q.

PS, if anyone can post this at the above site, it would be greatly appreciated.

At present, details are sketchy. ALPA was notified this morning of the passing of Captain Miller in St. Peters, MO. He was 30 years old and had a massive heart attack. Wednesday, his wife gave birth to his second child. Yesterday, they were notified of complications. He passed with his wife and baby at his side. Captain Miller also has a two-year old. We are awaiting details of the services. At this time, we believe that they will be held in St. Peters, MO (St. Louis suburb) on Monday. Any pilot available to attend the service should wear full Winter Dress. Further details will follow. We do not yet have information on Memorial Funds, etc. Please keep the Miller family in your prayers. Sherry Q
This is the info that is on CALForums. Sherry Quekemeyer is the head of the membership committee and she is the one who is organizing the honor guard, with Mark Benton. These are the two posts she has put up, hopefully the info is all correct. Godspeed Tony...
