I must say that the Vacation bid program is great. I got 17 days off for my 3 days of vacation. One question though. I did this manually but for next time, if I have the first few days of next month how do I bid the previous month. For example. If you have the first week of Oct how would you bid for Sept. Can you do this in bid max?

Default Ccs Max

I am trying to set the desired crew. I put the employee number than the last name. But in open time it does not highlight the pairing in green even though there is a trip with that person. Anyone know how to make it work?

there are problems with LAX CA too. It is separating some of the four days to look like a day on one off and then three days on. I forget the line though.

i've noticed a problem when a 4-day straddles
the end of month and there's a layover.

e.g. work on 30, layover and then continue on 02 and 03.
i.e. 1st off.

anyone have any other scenarios.

i need a base/pos and then line number.

Any chance of adding an option under the vacation options to just filter the trips that would be dropped without sorting? That way if you come back to your bid (eg after a timeout) and you have manually sorted some lines, you could pick up where you left off.

In other words, an option to graphically display the month with the trips touching vacation without sorting by min lv, max days off, max continuous days off. Hope that makes sense?

Thanks.

I've been using Bidmax since it came out and it is a great improvement over straight adopt. If your ever looking to improve something, maybe I could suggest having an option that instead of downloading the lines to bidmax, allows export of all data into .csv or .xls so that the slightly spreadsheet inclined could sort the data and paste the bid back into adopt. The current way results in adopt timing out requiring re-login and loss of all work. If your IAH based an have to look at 400+ lines, that would make it much simpler.

Once again, great product. I have used it for my last 2 vacation bids and was very pleased but when I run my vacation bid for June it doesn't sort it correctly at all. I have the 23rd to the 29th. Anyone else having this problem? When I scroll down there are lines with way more continuous days off then the one that it put as # 1. Any ideas? I am using the newest version.
