Snow, winds cause travel problems

Just imagine if we had no global warming. My initial prediction is without all of the greenhouse gas there would have been 18-40 inches of snow. I'm going to leave my car on all night to help these poor folks out.

You do have to admit that stories like this happen all the time but when the tables are turned the mainstream media jumps all over it to "prove" global warming is here right now.

Of course there is global warming! How else did the earth get out of the ice age?

Its all from the north atlantic current disruption because of the salt/fresh water combo....didn't you ever see that movie? gosh! I think we should turn the a/c down to 50 and leave the door open, wouldn't that help?

I would say, of course there is "Global Climate Change." How else did the earth get out of the ice age?

Here is another one the mainstream media "missed." Im sure if it happen to say "Denver Sees Hottest June Morning In Over 50 Years" they would have been all over it like ants on a tootsie roll.

Denver Sees Coldest June Morning In Over 50 Years
Denver Sees Coldest June Morning In Over 50 Years - Weather News Story - KMGH Denver
9 of 12 warmest years for Denver occurred before 1955...

Its lucky the "mainstream media" doesn't have to prove anything - the scientists prove it and the sane media report it. What next: evolution didn't happen ... oh wait. Maybe we should start a Flat-Earth Society for the more delusional people on here to be members.

Consensus is not science. A hundred scientist just saying its so doesnt make it true. Just like there was consensus that the earth was flat or that the sun revolved around the earth, neither was true.

But like Ive said before, global warming is real. How else did we get out of the ice age.

FOXNews.com - Al Gore's Claim About the Snow on Mount Kilimanjaro - Brit Hume | Special Report
Snows of Kilimanjaro

Al Gore has made the disappearing snows of Mount Kilimanjaro a cornerstone of his crusade against global warming.
In his film "An Inconvenient Truth" for example, he says: "Within the decade, there will be no more snows of Kilimanjaro."
But now researchers from the U.S. and Austria say global warming isn't the cause, and the fluctuations are nothing new.
American Science magazine reports most of the current snow retreat occurred before 1953 — nearly two decades before any conclusive evidence of atmospheric warming was available.
One of the scientists writes: "It is certainly possible that the icecap has come and gone many times over hundreds of thousands of years."

The article says the disappearance of Kilimanjaro's ice is not driven by warming air temperature, but by solar radiation — and that much of the ice is not melting, but vanishing by sublimation where ice at very low temperatures converts straight to water vapor.
