I saw the price for the Bergen Point but it says that utilities are not included. About how much does it end up being with everything included at the end of the month? Thanks.

Utilities are split equally between all the "roomies". When I was there (even in the the summer months), utilities never ran more than an additional $20 - $25/month...

What is the condition of the apartment...ie compared to the blocked inn.

A couple of guys I know checked out bergen point and they said that all the apartments over there are trashed. They were thinking about leaving the blocked inn for that but said that they wouldnt be able to deal with the mess over there. If you are looking for a nice one dont bother looking at bergen point.

So any ideas of where I can go for a decent crashpad in the EWR area? It cant be that hard to find, is it?

I don't think my room is trashed at all. Dirty, perhaps, but show me the crash pad that isn't. I think those guys were unlucky. I'm diggin on Bergen Point so far. The shuttle is by far the biggest bonus. No driving your own, no "slipping some hotel dude a fiver", and no city bus.

Yeah, it's not as nice as the Blocked Inn, but it's not $265 either.
