Default SAT Crashpads

I am posting this here, because the "Crashpads" section is far down the page and doesn't get much views.

Anyone have any tips on crashpads in SAT? I know of one place that was mentioned in the "Crashpads" section, but the person who is running it seems to have shut off his phone, and nobody answers at the pad. He is horrible about returning e-mails. I am looking for a place, and I have a buddy who is an FO on reserve looking as well. Right now we are searching out good deals on hotels, but there aren't many deals by the airport.

If anyone knows of a crashpad near the airport with openings, please let me know. I was thinking of just starting one myself, but I don't have the cash at the moment to purchase furniture and beds.

Thanks all. Ahem, ya'll.

as far as I know there aren't any in SAT, I've been doing the hotel thing which is expensive since I'm on reserve and there is no flying to be done. The best I have had was splitting a hotel, so maybe we can get a list together for that seems like the best option so far.

One of the FAs on my current pairing said some of them got together and got some kind of special deal at the Holiday Inn the crews stay in near the riverwalk. You may want to try them.

If any of you are retired Military, reserves, guard, etc. there are several military bases where space A rooms can be had pretty cheap as well.

I don't have the cash or I would start a crashpad myself as well.

Default SAT Crash Pad

I'm in the process of opening a crash pad, however it won't be available until July 1st, maybe sooner. Everything is included and the cost is $175.oo per month.

Email me if interested.
