I don't get angry when someone disagrees with me; however, when the tone from the get-go is "You're wrong, prove me wrong.", then that begs of someone needing to put on the tolerance hat.

I believe what I believe, but I don't go picketing in front of places of worship for other religions nor do I monopolize every conversation with why everyone unlike me is going to burn.

But the athiests have to learn that they don't have the monopoly on religious preference, either.

Our Constitution does not guarantee a religion-sterile view everywhere you go. Our "Creator" is mentioned specifically in our Declaration of Independance as the source of all of our rights. Nobody 150 years ago would care about God being mentioned in our courts, on our currency, or a prayer said in government locations (Congress even opens with one).

What's guaranteed to you is that the government shall enact no law that ESTABLISHES religion (ie: which religion is the "true religion").

Athiests and the like have adopted an in-your-face attitude where they try to force their NON-religion on everyone else.

Has the author of this thread pursued his belief as a legitimate quest with the experts? Or was this more of an arrogant jab and people he does not agree with and seems intolerant of?
