Trying to reason with a religious fanatic is tantamount to deer hunting with an accordion.

Pete, I hope if you have children you give them a chance to live free and happy rather than burden them with all the "crap" you are spewing. I fear they will be brain washed in the same manner those idiots in the middle east send their children to die as human bombs. Does it really matter if they die as a bomb or their brain is snipped by fear, intimidation, and mental indentured servitude.

Organised religion is only about one thing: POWER

.....and if you still believe in religion in this modern age then you are looking for answers you will never find because you simply don't have the mental acuity to think independent of the garbage clogging your brain. You are followers in the worst way. That is, BLIND FOLLOWERS (or as we like to call them in the US--Fanatics).

People spewing the scripture and embracing religion is kind of like a politician who keeps on claiming he is not corrupt.

The facade is usually covering up a den of hippocrisy at best and at worst is used as a crutch to hobble through a life of excuses in the belief that "god" loves us all and will forgive.

I'm sure that's what the priests were thinking when they were jack hammering all those little boys and girls.
