Kevin and family,

Your son will be in our thoughts and prayers. Have a little peace knowing that your child is at one of the best pediatric care hospitals in the USA, if not the world. I am a big fan of Texas Childrens Hospital and a regular there too. When my son was 4 years old he was diagnosed with leukemia and they sent us straight to TCH. The Doctors and Nurses there were all extra patient, helpful and very kind. We never felt rushed or looked over. My son is now 7 plus and after 2 1/2 years, finally off all chemo and meds. He is in remission and every day is a blessing. We are down there at least once a month for follow up checks and blood work. No surgery is minor and I completely understand your nerves and stress over all of this. Take care, be strong and know that we are all pulling and praying for you, your wife and your son. Good Luck and please keep us all posted. He will be in very good hands.
