I know from good sources that based on my income, I should pay little tax in the USA and no tax in Kuwait. As far as the intricate details of HOW and WHY it is that way, I leave it to the professionals whose job it is to know those details of how and why. Kind of like how you are paid to know not to select flaps 22 when your FO calls for them at 240 knots. The passenger in the back doesn't know that speed limitation or need to know...he/she just expects that you will provide safe transport from A to B.
