From an outsider's standpoint, it seems as though that XJT rolled the dice on a lot of things in 2007 (Captain attrition rate, industry health and growth, US economy, price of oil, and even hiring numbers) and lost on several if not all of those bets. The result of that loss is lots of FO's, little upgrade classes, and us swimming in an ocean size swimming pool. Again, I am not an employee of XJT so that is just my take on it...
