he isn't being irrational at all. on international overnights the lead flight attendant gets the room keys at the hotel. this is to prevent a large number of Continental employees crowding the lobby. The lead flight attendants usually steal the FO's room. In many of the hotels the CA will get the nicest room and the lowest seniority FA gets the worst room. The lead flight attendants are stealing the fo's room because many over there are in their own little world and think the flight attendants are higher in the chain of command then the fo's. They might have worked their longer but they are lower on the totem pole. CAL has some real issues with FA's forgetting the chain of command and disrespecting their higher ups. Supposedly this is going to be changed internally at CAL as well because a lot of pilots are upset over this. Talk to a couple guys over there and you will realize they sometimes never get called from the back to check up and are often times talked back to when telling a FA to do something. This kind of stuff doesnt go on at other airlines and needs to be fixed at CAL. Jumpseat on a CAL 75 and you ask for some of their stories
