You can then go to section 3 in your volume 1 “NORMAL PROCEDURES Green Tab and in the first 50 pages (100 front and back). You will find all the expanded procedures, and all the approach stuff. Learn them all, including what you are looking for on the fire test, ice test, hydraulic test etc. Just saying there are 3 red messages and 2 yellow ones won’t cut it know what they say.
Uniform-wise, you're required to buy the blazer, too.

But. . . spend the majority of time in the normal procedures. Yah, yah, review the limitations and memory items every day, but spend the bulk of time in the normal procedures.

Don't be afraid to carry flashcards on the shuttle, review 'em during lunch, review during the extra long breaks, or while spending quality time in the throne room.

You can also go early and stay late (once you have the name badge) at the training center using the various 'paper tigers' that are hanging around. There always seems to be someone, an instructor or someone from an earlier class, that can answer an occasional question.

Thanks for the ones that have gone before for answering the questions of those providing furlough protection on the bottom of the senority list.
